Headteachers Welcome

I am very proud to be the Headteacher at Morelands Primary School, a school I am passionate about having spent the last 9 years here, first as Deputy and now as Headteacher. This is a warm and caring school where every child is valued as an individual. Our children are happy, they behave well and love their learning. The school vision is ‘Together at Morelands we thrive, create and achieve and be the best we can be.’ This gives children the knowledge, skills and attributes that enable them to make the most of their time in school and gives them transferable life skills for the challenges they face today and in the future. I am committed to ensuring your children receive the best possible education. At Morelands, we believe in teaching a creative and engaging curriculum; using our amazing school grounds and making the most of every opportunity to bring learning to life.
Education works best when it is a partnership between home and school. We encourage parents to play an active part in their child’s learning, attending meetings and events held in school; ensuring that their child completes their home learning as well as sharing and enjoying their child’s successes. Our school rules are “Together at Morelands we use kind words, kind thoughts and kind actions to all and our environment to be the best that we can be.” These rules set high expectations of how we expect our children to behave towards each other and the adults in the school as well as how they look after the school’s resources and grounds.
We want your child to leave us being ‘the best that they can be’ in all subjects and in all aspects of their lives.
I hope you enjoy your visit to the website and that you find the information that you need. If you have any further questions, would like to meet me or have a look round the school please get in touch.
