Our Governors
What we do…
The Governing Body is made up of parents, school staff and members of the local community. Governors work in close partnership with the staff to help achieve the aims of the school. There are formal meetings to attend but Governors are also involved in many aspects of school life, taking a particular interest in the teaching and learning, personnel and finance or building and grounds. They celebrate children’s achievements by attending special occasions, become involved in activities and school visits and enjoy concerts, assemblies and competitions. The normal term of office for a Governor is 4 years.
